Attributed to Sally Hodgdon (Rochester, New Hampshire, 1780-1855) The Parrot and Apple Tree. Inscribed "Relief Hodgdon's property Rochester March 1-- ". Watercolor and pen and ink on paper, depicting a large parrot perched on and eating the fruit of an apple tree, surrounded on three sides by a leafy vine, 14 5/8 x 11 3/4 in., unframed. Condition: Repairs, toning, stain.
