Needlework Sampler, "Rebecca Marks aged 12 years," executed in silk threads on a linen ground with a central panel of bands of alphabets above signature inscription surrounded by flower blossoms, enclosed in a geometric strawberry vine border, (fading, toning), 15 x 12, in a 20th century maple frame. Note: The backboard is inscribed "Maternal Grandmother Rebecca Marks Davis 1810-1891."
