Needlework Sampler, "Sarah Edmonds 1807," executed in silk threads on a wool ground centered with three potted flowers alternating with small pine trees over a pious verse and signature inscription surrounded by flower blossoms and basketes of flowers, enclosed in a geometric floral border, (scattered small losses to ground fabric, toning), 15 1/4 x 13 1/4 in. , mounted in an early 20th century bird's-eye maple frame.
