Molded and Incised Redware Pig Flask, attributed to Wallace and Cornwall Kirkpatrick, Anna Pottery, Anna, Illinois, c. 1880, the molded Albany Slip-glazed flask in the form of an anatomically correct reclining pig with a hole at the rear, the figure decorated with incised "Railroad & River Guide with a little Good Old Rye in", landmarks noted including the following: "Miss. River, St. Louis, the future Capital, Cairo, Anna, Carbondale, narrow gage, Cairo & St.L, Centralia, ground sewer, Odin, Chicag (sic) the Corncrib, Ohio River, Cincinnati the Pork opolis," (chip to one ear), lg. 7 1/2 in.
