Federal Cherry Carved Tall Case Clock, John Osgood, Haverhill, Massachusetts, c. 1810-15, the hood with scrolled fretwork joining reeded plinths topped by brass ball finials, above the arched cornice molding and glazed tombstone door enclosing the polychrome and gilt dial with tasseled red drapery in the arch, seconds hand and calendar aperture, inscribed "John Osgood, HAVERHILL, Ma.", and brass eight-day weight-driven movement, the back plate fancifully engraved with "No. 305", all flanked by reeded columns, above the molded waist door flanked by reeded quarter columns on base with beaded recessed panel, all resting on ogee bracket feet, refinished, (imperfections), ht. 92 in. including finial.
