Mahogany Inlaid Tiger Maple Jewelry Box, c. 1835, rectangular box with hinged, canted lid centered with inlaid mahogany hearts and diamonds, the front and sides with inlaid with the owner's initials and diamond shapes, raised on scroll feet, the velvet-lined interior fitted with a mirror framed in gilt embossed paper, and a tray, (wear, one foot repaired), ht. 6 3/4, wd. 13 1/4, dp. 10 1/4 in.
