Two Cobalt Blue Decorated Stoneware Items, Boston and Montreal, mid-19th century, including a two-gallon cylindrical jar with lug handles, with cobalt-filled impressed maker's mark "Estabrook & Robinson, 69 Broad Street, Boston, Mass," over a stylized leaf; a two-gallon jug with strap handle, with impressed and cobalt filled maker or retailer's mark "---ier & Telmosse Impor Ateu Vins & Liqueur En Gros 200 Rue St Paul & 161 Rue Commissaires Montreal," over a stylized flower spray, (spreading base crack on the first, rim chips to both), ht. 11 1/2, 14 1/4 in. jar- about eight old shallow interior rim chips, crack across base and partly around and up lower side. jug- 1 1/2 x 1/2 in. old shallow rim chip.
