Bennington Pottery Flint Enamel Glazed Pitcher and Tea Pot, Bennington, Vermont, 1845-1847, both octagonal paneled examples with streaks of blue and red on a mottled brown ground, bearing the round impressed Lyman Fenton & Co. patent 1849 mark used on pottery made between 1845 and 1847, (pitcher with handle chip, teapot with old spout chip and hairline crack on base), ht. 10, 9 1/8 in. old handle chip on pitcher at the top most point about 1/4 x 1/2 in. , teapot spout chip about 1/2 x 1/8 in., both fairly unobtrusive.
