Four Chinese Export Porcelain Plates, 1ate 18th century, including two soup bowls, one octagonal decorated with gilt, underglaze blue, and polychrome enamel mons, peacocks, blossoms and leaves, the other decorated with polychrome enamels with central swans and exotic birds in a marsh with four flowering branches; two armorial plates centered with a floral spray, the rim ornamented with the arms of Swythen impaling Petit, and floral and scrolled foliage highlighted with gilt, (imperfections), respective dia. 9, 9, 8 3/4 in. peacock soup- gilt wear to edges, perpendicular hairline to base, some yellowish glue-like material applied to edge, few minor small rim chips. swan soup- several areas of rim repairs, minor gilt wear at center. armorial- each with a few unobtrusive small rim chips.
