Chinese Export Porcelain "Judgment of Paris" Plate, Ch'ien Lung, c. 1755, the plate centered with polychrome enamel decoration depicting Paris wearing rose drapery, holding a staff, seated on an iron-red rock beside his recumbent hound, offering a golden apple to Venus flanked by Juno and Minerva, with Cupid seated at their feet, the rim bordered by iron-red delineated gilt shells and foliate scrolls, (scattered gilt and enamel wear), dia. 9 in. enamel wear by dog's head and Paris' right side, and green drapery on one of the other figures, 1 1/2 in. rim hairline.
