Group of Three Ships in Bottles, America and/or Continental, late 19th/early 20th century, the first, a rigged three-masted ship flying a Dutch flag, on a painted putty sea, land, and sky backdrop with carved and painted houses and a windmill the bottle mouth painted with red, white and blue stripes; the second, another rigged three-masted vessel flying a Dutch flag on a molded putty sea; the third, a three-masted ship with rigging on a molded putty sea, the hull painted black and white, with a ropework band about the neck (loose fragment), lg. 12, 11 3/4, 8 1/2 in., respectively.
