Federal Grain Painted Poplar Chest-over-two-Drawers, upstate New York, c. 1800-10, the molded hinged top opens to a well above a graduated case of two scratch-beaded faux drawers and two working drawers all on cutout feet, original surface resembling matched crotch mahogany veneer, replaced brasses, (minor imperfections), ht. 41 1/4, wd. 42, dp. 18 1/2 in. Minor scratches and abrasions to paint;
