Paint Decorated Wash Stand, New England, c. 1830, the scrolled splash board above a pierced top, medial shelf and drawer, joining ring-turned supports and tapering legs, paint resembling rosewood graining with yellow striping and gold stenciled compote of fruit, (imperfections), ht. 36, wd. 16 3/4, dp. 13 3/4 in. The top is cracked and paint loss.
