Federal Tiger Maple Candlestand, probably New England, first quarter 19th century, the rectangular top on a vase and ring-turned supports and tripod base of shaped tapering legs, mellow patina, (minor repairs), ht. 28 3/4, top 15 x 17 1/2 in. One leg has been re-naled long ago. Some nails have been added where the legs meets the support.
