Pewter Teapot and Fluid Burning Lamp, America, early 19th century, the teapot by Josiah Danforth, Middletown, Connecticut, c. 1830, with hinged lid and wooden knop, black painted pewter handle, stamped "J. DANFORTH" in a conforming rectangle and "No. 13", together with an unmarked lamp with an acorn form font and two brass camphene burners, (dents), ht. 10 1/2, 7 1/4 in. coffee pot-possible solder repair lower portion handle exterior, some small dents around bulbous area of body; knop appears to be original, but paint may have been touched up. lamp- small dents around bulbous area of acorn, and around the base.
