Classical Carved Mahogany Dressing Table, Anthony Quervelle, Philadelphia, c. 1825 the hinged top with double crossbanded border and rounded corners opens to an interior with mirror and a fitted gold-tooled red leather interior, above a case of three rounded drawers, the top a faux drawer, the second a fitted drawer bearing the label of "Anthony G. Quervelle's Cabinet and Sofa Manufactory," and the third a bag drawer with carved gadrooned border, all on dolphin-carved supports continuing to molded scrolled legs on casters, joined by double vase and ring-turned medial stretchers, refinished, (minor imperfections), ht. 30 3/4, wd. 24, dp. 19 in.
