$700
Neoclassical Mahogany Carved Armchair, early 19th century, the paneled and reeded crest rail centering carved quills, above a molded pierced back centering a rosette with reeded arms continuing to concave supports, on ring-turned reeded legs, (repairs), ht. 33, seat ht. 18 in. The arms of the chair have each broken and are repaired, in the area of the concave supports. The blocks under the seat have all been replaced. The splat has been reglued at some point in two places. And the seat frame may be made of beech, which indicates to us that the piece may be English. As far as we can tell, there is no damage to the legs.
