Cherry Inlaid Tall Case Clock, probably central Massachusetts, c. 1800, the hood with pierced fretwork joining reeded plinths topped by brass finials on an arched molded cornice and glazed tombstone door opening to a polychrome and gilt iron dial showing three sailing ships in the arch with seconds hand and gilt spandrels and brass eight-day weight-driven movement above the cockbeaded string-inlaid waist door flanked by reeded quarter columns on conformingly inlaid base and ogee bracket feet, refinished, (restoration), ht. 92 3/4 in. Fretwork restored; feet replaced; dents and nicks in case;
