Federal Cherry Tall Case Clock, New Hampshire or Massachusetts, c. 1800-10, the hood with pierced fretwork joining square plinths topped with brass finials, above an arched cornice and glazed tombstone door enclosing a iron polychrome and gilt painted dial showing birds in the arch, with floral spandrels, framing a dial with seconds hand and calendar aperture, and brass eight-day weight-driven movement, on the thumbmolded waist door flanked by quarter columns on molded base and bracket feet, refinished, (restored), ht. 90 1/4 in. replaced finials and fretwork, and probably plinths, repairs and replacements to feet. shrinkage crack in base the full width of base, patched.
