Anders Zorn (Swedish, 1860-1920) Anatole France, 1906, final state of four (Asplund, 204). Signed "Zorn" in pencil l.r., monogrammed and dated within the plate, collector's stamp l.l. Etching on laid paper with partial Van Gelder Zonen watermark, plate size 8 1/2 x 6 1/4 in. (21.5 x 15.7 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Margins approximately 1 3/4 inches with deckled edges, toning, prevalent mat burn, annotations to lower margin and reverse, minor hinges/residue to edges on the reverse.
