Anders Zorn (Swedish, 1860-1920) The Hair Ribbon, 1912, final state of three (Asplund, 253). Signed "Zorn" in pencil l.r., monogrammed and dated within the plate. Etching on laid paper with figural watermark, plate size 11 3/4 x 7 7/8 in. (29.8 x 19.9 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Margins 2 inches or more with deckled edges, gentle toning, unobtrusive mat burn, minor handling creases, annotations to lower margin and the reverse.
