Hendrik Goudt (Dutch, 1585-1630) Ceres Seeking Her Daughter, c. 1610, possibly a later printing. Identified within the plate, collector's stamps on the reverse. Etching and engraving on laid paper with figural watermark, sheet size 12 1/4 x 9 3/8 in. (31.0 x 23.7 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Trimmed to or within the plate mark, soiling, subtle rubs. N.B. Sold to benefit a university art museum.
