American, 1936. A page of individual sketches depicting Snow White, Doc, and Grumpy each in bust length. Stamps surrounding the sketches indicate that they were done during a session at the Character Model Department, which was developed by Disney Studios to construct small sculptures of characters which allowed animators to study and draw them in the round. Stamp below Snow White reads "Character Model Dept o.k. by *initials* date 10/3/36 number SW DIG7, sheets subject to recall". Stamps above dwarves read "This material is the property of Walt Disney Productions. It must not be taken from the studio or used in any manner without permission of an authorized officer of the company" which is inscribed "9-26-36"; and "Production FI, Snowwhite, Doc + Grumpy Models, (c), 1936. W.D.P." Framed 25.75" x 31.5", unframed sight size 11 3/8" x 14 1/8".
