John Edwards, Ashby Massachusetts Tall Clock, in a pine case with pierced fret top, three finial plinths and brass finials, arched glazed door over the painted wooden dial with floral decorated arch and "astronomical" dial layout of seconds, minutes and hours, two stage base molding and low bracket feet all housing a thirty-hour wooden, time and strike movement powered by soapstone weights, (replacement fret, center plinth, finials and base), ht. 86 in.
