A set of four etched and engraved staircase details from "The British Architect; or, The Builder's Treasury of Staircases" by Abraham Swan (British, active 1745–68) with engravings by Edward Rooker (British, 1711–1774), published in London in many editions prior to 1775. Set comprises of plate XXVII, XXVIII, XXIX, and XXX. Each image inscribed within plate "A. Swan inv et Delin" and "E. Rooker Sculp". Framed 22" x 16.5", unframed sight size 14.25" x 9". _x000D_
