Needlework Sampler, "Anne Holmaear finished this work in the twelfth year of her age November the 30 Anno Domini 1833," worked in silk threads on a linen ground with top horizontal register with a central leafy tree flanked by figures, potted plants, birds and butterflies, over pious verses over a register with potted plants flamingos and trees with geometric floral borders, (toning, minor hole), 24 1/2 x 20 in. , in a later molded wood frame.
