Painted and Decorated Dome-top Box, Worcester County, Massachusetts, 1820s, the black ground paint is embellished with red and gold neoclassical elements including a meandering gold vine with red flowers surrounding two intersecting feathers with corner feathers as well above a line of similarly colored drapery swags over two additional arched feathers, with beige and black Federal wallpaper lining, (very minor surface imperfections), ht. 11, wd. 28, dp. 14 in.
