Classical Tiger Maple and Cherry Astragal End Work Table, possibly Pennsylvania or Ohio, c. 1825, the hinged top opening to a compartmented interior on a conformingly shaped case of a false and working drawer flanked by turned acorn drops, on a vase and ring-turned support with chip carving, and tripod base of scroll-carved legs on ball feet, (imperfections), ht. 29 1/2, wd. 24, dp. 13 1/4 in.
