Blue and White Woven Wool and Cotton Jacquard Coverlet, attributed to Asahel Amora Phelps (1795-1854), Delhi, Delaware County, New York, 1849, two-piece double-weave coverlet centered with twelve large medallions with flowers and pineapples and six small eight-point stars, bordered on four sides with urns of flowers and weeping willow trees flanked by birds, the corner blocks with spreadwing eagles, stars, and "DELHI 1845," one corner woven with the name for whom the quilt was made for "Betsey Scoville", (toning, stains), 95 x 77 1/2 in.
