Six-Piece Chinese Export Porcelain Partial Tea Service, late 18th/early 19th century, made for the American market, the service including a teapot, cream jug, tea caddy, a tea bowl, a small lobed dish, and a shallow bowl, polychrome enamel decoration centered with a gilt rose in a wreath surmounted by an eagle and above two American shields, flanked by the figures of Liberty and Justice over a pink banner, with wavy cobalt blue borders, (loss to cream jug handle), ht. 7/8-5 1/4, dia. 5 3/4-8 1/8 in.
