Needlework Sampler, "Sally Ann Tindall 1825," probably Quaker, Chester County, Pennsylvania or Burlington County, New Jersey, the sampler worked in silk threads on a linen ground centered with an undulating leafy oval reserve stitched with a verse about friendship, flowers and Sally's signature and date, the oval surrounded by three geometric medallions, flowers, baskets, and birds, (toning, moisture stains), 16 1/2 x 17 1/4 in. , in a later molded mahogany frame.
