Portrait Miniature of a Benjamin Tyler When He was 22 Years Old. circa 1830, the subject identified in inscription on the reverse, watercolor on ivory showing a bust-length oval portrait of the white-haired man facing right wearing a black jacket, white shirt and stock, 2 1/2 x 2 in., in an oval gilt copper case with a cut paper arrow piercing a heart, in an oval compartment with eglomise mat on the reverse.
