Portrait Miniature of a Gentleman Wearing a Blue Jacket, indistinctly signed and dated "Prigrart 1799," signed l. r., watercolor on ivory showing a bust-length portrait of the man facing right, wearing a blue jacket with brass buttons white shirt and cravat, dia. 2 in., in a round hinged pendant gold frame, the border and backing with green glass over foil, one side with a round compartment with plaited hair. Condition: Minor paint losses on edge, glass cracked on exterior side of case with plaited hair.
