Ruckla," 1840, artist identified in inscription on verso of girl, watercolor on ivory, showing round bust-length portraits, the girl wearing a pink lace trimmed dress, the boy a blue jacket and white ruff, dia. 1 1/2, 1 3/4 in., including a hinged red leather case. Condition: The girl with small paint loss u.l., ivory loose in cases.
