Peter Poskas (American, b. 1939) View Through the Window/The Red Barn Signed "Peter Poskas" l.l. Oil on canvas, 30 x 22 1/2 in. (76.2 x 55.9 cm), framed. Condition: Good. N.B. Poskas' poetic images work with shapes, color, and light. Born in Waterbury Connecticut, Poskas is best known for his realist landscapes of Connecticut and Monhegan, Maine. He studied forestry and wildlife at the University of Connecticut before attending Paier Art School in New Haven.
