Rembrandt van Rijn (Dutch, 1606-1669) Jan Uytenbogaert, the Goldweigher, 1639, third state of three, a posthumous printing (Bartsch, 281). Signed and dated in the plate. Etching on China or Japan paper, plate size 9 5/8 x 8 in. (24.5 x 20.3 cm), framed. Condition: Thread margins, repair to much of lower edge (within the plate mark, but not effecting the signature or image), white paper tape to right edge on the reverse.
