Federal Mahogany Patent Timepiece or "Banjo" Clock, Massachusetts, with lower pedestal, gilded rope molded frames enclosing a lower glass depicting Aurora and her chariot pulled by two eagles, the waist glass with gilt stars and green border flanked by brass side ornaments, brass bezel enclosing the painted iron dial, all capped by a brass finial and housing an eight-day, brass weight-driven time only movement, (throat glass repainted, pedestal, finial and side ornaments replaced, gilding restored), ht. 41 in.
