Giuliano, the seated sphinx mounted on a blue basse taille and white enamel plinth with hieroglyphs and banded blue-gray and brown jasper tablet, unsigned, in signed fitted morocco and velvet box. Giuliano Seal Box with Picadilly address. Note affixed to bottom reads "Given to me by Sir Lawrence Alma Tadema made for him by some famous Egyptian. It is gold and real hieroglyphics that can be read. St. John''s Wood 1911." Seal measures approx. 1 1/8 inch high. Jasper tablet uncarved.
