Five Doulton Burslem Items, England, late 19th century, each with enamel and gilt floral decoration, a spill vase with coiled dragon in relief, ht. 5 in.; two-handled vase signed H. Piper, ht. 12 in.; water jug, ht. 8 in.; bottle-shaped jug with dragon handle, silver rim and cover, ht. 10 in.; and a salad bowl with dragon in relief, claw and ball feet, dia. 9 1/4 in.; printed factory marks. Two-handled Vase: top of vase broken in four pieces and simply reglued. Bottle-shape: ends of dragon''s wings restored; some light gilt wear to areas of highest relief. Salad bowl: several chips to dragon relief All else in very good condition with no cracks, chips or restorations.
