French, late 19th century. French 3 piece marble and spelter clock garniture set comprising of a figural clock and a pair of flowering urns. The figural sculpture entitled 'Cosette' from "Les Mis," after the famous book, "Les Miserables" of Victor Hugo. Cosette is barefoot, carrying a bucket and signed to the back ‘A. J. Scott’ and mounted on a Louis XVI style rose marble and gilt metal mounted shaped clock base with circular hand painted porcelain dial with center floral garlands and Arabic numerals and raised on 4 gilt acanthus scrolled legs. Offered along with a matched pair of urns holding dried floral arrangement on a rose marble shaped plinth mounted with gilt legs. Clock height 21â€, width 12â€, depth 5.5â€. Urns height 13â€, width 6â€, depth 4.5â€.
