Early Georgian Crossbanded Walnut Bachelor's Chest, of typical form, with hinged top above a rectangular case fitted with lopers, two short, and two long drawers, on bracket feet, ht. 29 3/4, wd. 37, dp. 14 in. top with shrinkage cracks and two areas of veneer popping, and 3 veneer chips. drawers in good condition. traversing rail with some veneer chips. base with large areas of missing veneer; base likely reconstructed.
