Nine Royal Doulton Fledglings, England, 20th century, consisting of two on a rock, one yellow, one blue, ht. 3 3/4 in.; together with seven in a variety of poses, ht. 1 1/8 to 1 7/8 in.; printed factory marks. Fledgling with open mouth: slight chip to lower beak. Fledgling with blue back: two slight chips by tail; crack running down backside. Fledgling with blue and yellow: factory chips to beak and tail under the glaze. All others in very good condition throughout with no cracks, chips or restorations.
