Three Mettlach Relief Steins, Germany, early 20th century, each with inlay lid, a three-tenth litre 2077, panels of coats of arms to a terra cotta colored ground, overall ht. 5 5/8 in.; together with two half-litre steins, a 1266 with panels of taverners drinking to a blue ground, overall ht. 6 1/4 in.; and a 1028 with simulated treetrunk body and central cartouche of man and woman harvesters between twig framed panels of verses, overall ht. 6 3/4 in.; impressed and printed factory marks. Each in very good condition throughout with no cracks, chips or restorations.
