American Empire Brass Mounted Mahogany Dressing Table, likely Boston, second quarter 19th century, the upper section with a mirrored superstructure and two glove drawers, the rectangular case with two projecting drawers over three long drawers flanked by column-form stiles, on carved paw feet, the brasses stamped with foliage and anthemion, overall ht. 70, wd. 38 1/2, dp. 22 in. overall good condition. mirror with minor flaking in corners and sides, some shrinkage to veneers. dusty. cracks to columns. very nice flaming to grain. age typical minor scuffing, particularly to feet. with pine and cedar secondary woods.
