Five Enameled Half-litre Porcelain Lithopane Steins, Germany, late 19th century, each with hinged pewter lid, one with titled portrait "Deutschlands Kaiserblume", overall ht. 7 3/8 in.; one with scene of a rabbit hunter offering his goods to a couple, overall ht. 7 1/2 in.; one with musicians and dancers in a tavern, titled "Erst bezahlen", overall ht. 8 1/4 in.; one with tavern scene with man and woman drinking, overall ht. 7 1/2 in.; and one with child holding a beer stein, verse to either side "Grufs aus Qunchen", overall ht. 8 3/4 in. Each stein in very good condition with no cracks, chips or restorations; trim line of footrim to stein w/child holding stein has two areas of wear; all other steins with very slight trim line wear.
