Boxed Horse Race Wagering Game, late 19th century, possibly English, painted metal and wood, lid lifting off to reveal game, the central betting cup flanked by four metal spindled posts, and with six painted horses with riders, base 14 3/4 x 14 3/4 in. Repainted and likely remounted/later mounted in current box. #2 horse lacking tip of tail. #6 horse lacking hoof of right front leg. #5 horse lacking right front leg.
