French, Early 20th century. Matched pair of French Provincial style oak fauteuils, each with cartouche shaped and padded back and downscrolled arms with padded rests over a serpentine seat with scroll carved apron raised on cabriole legs terminating in scrolled toes covered in petit point secured with nailhead trim. Height 38", width 24.5" (arm to arm), seat depth 20", seat height 15".
