Italian, late19th century. Italian Baroque style walnut lectern or library table with rectangular top over an egg and dart carved cornice and single frieze paneled drawer decorated with bead-and-reel molding, the sides all with similar molded panels and raised on scrolled trestle supports joined by a carved and scrolled medial stretcher with mortise and tenon through a molded shield and raised on paw feet. Height 39", width 39.25", depth 25.5".
