Italian, Late 19th/Early 20th century. Finely handled micro mosaic cross with images of architecture found in the Vatican at shaped tips with white stars on blue background and florals surrounding a wavering banner that reads "ROMA". Center of silvertone cross with circular metal coin form accent with image of Pius X in profile, verso of center with viewing chamber, likely for reliquary. Unmarked. Approximate height (to top of circular loop) 6", width 4".
