William Loechel (American, 20th Century) Stagecoach Robbery Signed "W. Loechel" l.r., inscribed "published in True West Feb. '58" l.l. Graphite on paper, sight size 11 1/2 x 22 1/4 in., framed. Condition: Staining, rippling, foxing, not examined out of frame. N.B. The work illustrates the story "Riddle of the Redfield Robbers," published in True West , February 1958, pp. 24-25. A copy of True West accompanies the lot.
